classes.
i am currently an assistant professor at the university of toronto in the department of arts, culture and media. i teach performance classes like: decolonizing classics, devising theatre (from a decolonized lens), and lecture classes like equity and diversity in the arts. i have a breadth of teaching experience, and it is all integral to my creative practice. i feel like the art of teaching is a creative act, and i am grateful when i get to have impactful energetic exchanges in learning environments.
workshops.
i offer a variety of workshops that center conversations about ‘decolonizing,’ both artistically and institutionally. my workshops prioritize embodied ways of learning and are often co-lead. i have worked in EDID with many organizations including the University of Toronto and Stratford Festival. if you are curious about what a workshop might look like, or if you are looking for a facilitator, please contact me for a free consultation.
