depths of desire is a radical reimagining of richard iii by shakespeare. i have always been fascinated by this character, and especially in isolation, i began to ponder about the ruthless individualism that he holds. it is his greatest asset, and yet his downfall. what happens when become our own worst nightmare? how do we handle that nightmare when it haunts us? mixing a devised process, theatre artists with cameras and some newfound live video editing, we have created an immersive, live, digital theatrical experience.
